Having a VfB membership is an important part of being a true VfB fan and entitles you to many privileges that can greatly enhance your experience. By becoming a paid member your membership fees become an important contribution to the club and youth programs. Your membership also grants you voting rights at the annual general meeting and other privileges.
UPDATE: There is now a streamlined process for Americans to become VfB members. See details here: https://www.vfbstuttgartamericana.com/vfbapplication. The new process is especially important if you are NOT currently in Germany as it does not require a German bank account.

Right of first refusal on VfB tickets (for some matches the member-only pre-sale is the only way to get tickets)

How much does a membership cost? For adults (over 25) the membership costs 60 EUR per year. For those 25 and under the cost is 30 EUR and for children under 15 the cost is 21 EUR. There are also options for a family membership but those applications must be submitted via a PDF form emailed to VfB. Take a look at the chart on the right for details. (Source)
So, lets get started. To apply for a membership open shop.vfb.de. On the homepage hover over “Mitgliedschaften” and select “Online Mitgliedsantrag” under the “Verein” section
Next, select the “Verein” option.
On the next page, fill in your details. Use the screenshot to the right to translate what the form is asking for:

Next, enter your bank IBAHN information (you must have a German bank account to complete this step). Enter your IBAHN, BIC, and Bank name (IE: N26). Be sure to check the small box on the left indicating you agree to the terms:
